Since 1980, the Bodine Street Community Garden has been a beloved urban green space for the 900 block of South Bodine Street and the surrounding South Queen Village neighborhood of Philadelphia.
After the threat of being destroyed in 2003, followed by a 4 year-long struggle to save it, the garden is now proudly owned and protected by the Neighborhood Gardens Association land trust.
