A Beloved Urban Green Space

Since 1980, the Bodine Street Community Garden has been a beloved urban green space for the 900 block of South Bodine Street and the surrounding South Queen Village neighborhood of Philadelphia.

A Place Where Nature and Neighbors Thrive.

After the threat of being destroyed in 2003, followed by a 4 year-long struggle to save it, the garden is now proudly owned and protected by the Neighborhood Gardens Trust.
