2nd Consecutive First Prize in City Gardens Contest
For the second year in a row, The Bodine Street Garden wins a first place prize in the 2009 City Gardens Contest for the Vegetable Gardens category.
Grant to Rebuild Path
The NGA awards grant money to the Bodine Street Garden to have a path professionally installed. We used donated concrete pavers and reclaimed materials to create a path that was professionally built, but still keeps the spirit of the garden.

Garden Saved!
This morning at 10 AM, Terry Mushovic signed the papers at the Redevelopment Authority for the transfer of 939-941 South 3rd Street to the Neighborhood Gardens Association on behalf of the gardeners. Now the Bodine Street Garden is permanently preserved!
RDA Takes Over Garden
The garden property is officially in the hands of the Redevelopment Authority!! The RDA will have a lease agreement with the Neighborhood Gardens Association until they can transfer the property to the NGA in the Fall.
Grant Money for Improvements
